Dear Colleagues,
We are very delighted to announce the organization of the 5th Africa International Biotechnology and Biomedical Conference (AIBBC 2021), which will take place in November, 2021 in the beautiful lakeside city of Kisumu in western Kenya.
Since 2014, AIBBC has been at the forefront of promoting the growth of science and technology in Africa through the organization of a series of training workshops aimed at imparting practical skills in advanced biomedical technology and conferences for promoting research sharing and international networking. With strong focus on training future leaders in life sciences, biotechnology and biomedical fields, AIBBC continues to make a difference in research capacity development by providing the much needed platform for high-level scientific and technological interaction and exchange to both young and established researchers in Africa.
AIBBC 5th will continue our tradition of organizing science-focused, content-rich meetings with impact to the participants and the society at large. Opportunities to present your latest research findings either as an oral or a poster presentation will be available. We welcome you to consider submitting an abstract in all areas of life sciences, biotechnology and biomedical research and education. Both basic and applied researches with potential application in health, including diagnostics, therapeutics, drug development, healthcare management, quality of life improvement etc are welcome. Specific details about abstract submission will be posted later.
Exhibitors and industry participants are also welcome to take advantage of the platform AIBBC offers to meet the African scientific community and tap into the potentially rich African market. We can help you setup and help you grow together with Africa.
Granted, this year’s meeting comes at a very challenging time. However, the unprecedented challenges brought about by the Covid-19 have even the more reaffirmed the importance of fighting infectious diseases for global prosperity, peace, and stability. We believe that the excitement of once again coming together in-person to network and share our social and research experiences after long months of social distancing overcomes all anxieties there might be.
We look forward to seeing you in November for the 5th AIBBC workshops and conference. Please contact us by email for more information.
Sincerely,
5th AIBBC Organizing Committee
