This year, we plan to visit the spectacular Kabalega Falls (Murchison Falls) between Lake Kyoga and Lake Albert on the Victoria Nile in Uganda.
The Falls are created by river Nile eroding a gap in the rocks that is only 7 m wide. The water falls for 43 m before flowing westward into Lake Albert. The outlet of Lake Victoria sends around 300 cubic meters of water per second over the falls, through a gorge less than 10 m wide.
